ABOUT MZUNGU KICHAA

Mzungu Kichaa was born in Denmark and grew up in Africa. He is a multi-talented musician and songwriter, celebrated for his songwriting and live performance. After finishing his university degree in London, he returned to Bongo Flava, where he had already featured on tracks by Juma Nature, TID, and other Bongo Records artists, by releasing his debut album Tuko Pamoja in Swahili, with the hit single, Jitolee ft. Professor Jay and Mwasiti.

He has established himself as a key figure in the industry, not only as a musician but also as a concert promoter. His public profile led to his selection as a judge on one of East Africa’s largest televised talent shows, Bongo Star Search. His live performances has seen him perform at Sauti za Busara (TZ), Blankets and Whine (KE), Bayimba (UG), Shoko (ZIM) , Fest Afrika (FIN), Funkhaus Europa (DE) and Smukfest (DK).

As an advocate for democracy and unity through music, Mzungu Kichaa continues to develop his work through collaborations, live performances, and engagement with social issues, maintaining his position as a relevant voice in contemporary music.
